During the Ninth Five year plan the Govt. of India sanctioned its approval to establish 100 Eklavya Model Residential Schools in the Tribal Areas of the country, In this series of opening EMRS ,Eklavya Model Residential School was Sanctioned in Year 2018 . Eklavya Model Residential School, Pangi ,Distt. Chamba is one of them ,which is made operational in year ,2019.
